Hope

If you only carry one thing throughout life, let it be hope. Let it be hope that better things are always ahead. Let it be hope that you can get through even the toughest of times. Let it be hope that you are exactly where you are meant to be right now, and that you are on the path to where you are meant to be….because during these tough times, hope is the only thing which carries me through.

PS. To continue traditions – my traditions will never change.

The Best Days Are Yet To Come

Hand In Hand

We Swam In Seas So Blue

Touching Fish of Every Iridescent Hue

Cheek To Cheek

We Kissed Under Stars So Bright

Forever Smiling From That Enchanting Night

Heart To Heart

For As Long As The Stars Shine Above

Forever Will Seal Our Ethereal Love

Though, I May Be Blue

Forever, Always, I Save My Best For You

So, To A Lifetime of Happy Memories To Come

Forever, Happy Valentine’s Day, My Dear Tumtum

Do You Remember Where This Is From?
It Is From The First Line Of Our Poem
Seas So Blue, Fish Of Every Iridescent Hue

The Long Drive Home

Sunday January 31 2021

Although I am sad to leave today, I take with me six months of happy memories, of us together from winter to summer, Sake to The Enchanted Garden, Poke to Painting, Pacific Fair to Paris, Golf to Green Tea, Surfers Paradise to Brisbane, Chermside to North Lakes, Restaurant Dan Arnold to Customs House Patina, W Spa Couples Treatment to Waikiki Beanbag Happiness in the W Brisbane WOW Pool, Mr Percival’s to New Shanghai, Lu Cha Brisbane to Jackpot Dining Indooropilly, Mary’s Malaysian at The Patio Pacific Fair to Salt Meats Cheese at Gasworks, Betty’s Burgers to Goodtime Gelaterria at Howard Smith Wharves, Holey Moley to Roti Place, The Moo to Momo Chicken and Beer at Queen Street Mall, El Camino Cantina to Koto Sanpo, Sheraton Buffet Breakfast to The Best Times Together at Surfers Paradise Timezone, eating Breadtop Taro Lava Custard Mooncake whilst sleeping together in the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed and watching Marriott Bonvoy TV as our little celebration for Mooncake Festival, Gerard’s Bistro to grand beef cheeks and cauliflower mash, and my favourite of all – afternoon naps with you and Howie at North Lakes Unit 10. Getting licked into submission, each rugae of his tongue a gentle token of his love, just like your kindness in organising our amazingly hot and licky afternoons together as one happy family.

Thank you for giving me so many special, amazing, and happy memories which we will both carry with us for a lifetime.

So many more, to be cherished and remembered.

My Journey As I Left

I picked up my Blue Microsoft Arc Mouse at Harvey Norman Bundall

Packing six months worth of happy memories

Patrick the Pup kept me company along the way

Chopstick holders safe and intact

Packing six months of my life, keepsakes safe and sound

Departure, Farewell

I always made sure you had oranges, lovingly handcut your favourite way,

To guide you home safely the entire way,

Hopefully the kiwifruit will help me survive all the way.

Healing Rays of Sunshine

Peanuts was always our favourite comic book strip. No matter what, we always laughed when we saw Charlie Brown and Lucy playing baseball, and we always bonded over Snoopy and Woodstock. I hope you enjoy your Milkis on a hot day like today, although the bottle was always meant to be a keepsake rather than to be consumed. I hope your parents are ok, only a regular check up for the New Year, and that you have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend with them.
